Your order will be picked and packed to determine the correct shipping costs before you are charged for your order to ensure you are only charged what is needed to get your parcel to you, rather that applying an average shipping cost.
Purchases over $100, will be delivered to an Australian postal address free of postal charges.
Enquiries are welcome for competitive rates on postage outside of Australia.
Initially, orders will be shipped via Australia Post. Orders will be charged at the existing price plus postage, packing and postal insurance , which will be quoted on receipt of the order. Customers can request for orders to be sent uninsured but must be aware that they assume the risk if shipped this way.
Unless otherwise specified the prices quoted are for delivery to a single address. Items will be dispatched as soon as possible after payment has been received.
Please be aware that if parcels sent via Australia Post are lost or damaged , we won’t be able to replace the items unless they have been insured (additional cost responsibility of buyer).
We are currently in discussions with a national / international courier company to facilitate access to their services and enable us to provide more options for shipping.
The Company (Victorian Dollhouses and Miniatures) and the buyer (person, firm or company ordering goods) expressly agree that until the company has been paid in full for the goods comprised on this or any other sales contracted between them, full legal title remains with the company. Notwithstanding the preceding condition all risk in respect of the goods shall be assumed by the buyer upon delivery of the same.
For security reasons we do not forward credit card receipts with orders.
The buyer is required to examine the goods on delivery . The company reserves the right to reject claims in respect of shortages, or damage in transit, or non-delivery where such claims occur 7 days after the due date of delivery.
Whilst the company will use its best endeavours to deliver the goods in accordance with the buyers requirements, the company will not be liable for any consequence of late delivery however caused.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that any items returned are properly insured. The company will not be responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit. All goods returned must have a copy of the original invoice enclosed with the returned goods. Goods returned must be as originally supplied by the company.
